EFT and Neurodiversity

EFT and Neurodiversity 1 - Melbourne EFT

Event Date:

February 18, 2023

Event Time:

10:00 am

Event Location:

Abbotsford Convent

When it seems like no matter how hard you work with your client(s) ‘something’ is sending things spiralling back to reactivity or impeding their best efforts and you can’t quite put your finger on it? Maybe you’ve started to doubt yourself or wondered if a client is neurodivergent, but you just don’t know much about this. It’s not easy to get support and up-skill about working with neurodiversity, but it is prevalent in our practices.

Please join us for a unique, in-person, immersive day on applying EFT where there’s neurodiversity in romantic relationships.

  • Learn from the lived experience of individuals and couples with neurodivergent presentations including ADHD and Autism.
  • Discover how these issues impact everyday life and relational life.
  • Explore how you as a therapist can understand and support these couples’ to flourish.
  • Find out how EFT is an appropriate approach and what adaptations may be required.

This is a grassroots, Panel Presentation event – it’s facilitated by our own Thomas Dellman, EFT Supervisor. You will hear from Dr. Matt Evans and Jo Gniel, followed by plenty of room for discussion and sharing of what has and hasn’t worked for you in your therapy room.

All are welcome (with and without lived experience) to attend and contribute to this mind and heart-opening event. This 5-hour event will be offered in a manner congruent with embracing neurodiversity, so all present will have a multi-layered experience of this topic.

Please note, this event will not be recorded or live-streamed.
