Come along to MCEFT’s Case Presentation Series, where an experienced EFT practitioner shares excerpts from an EFT case.  For the remainder of 2020, our Case Presentation Series will continue online via Zoom.

Back by popular demand to launch our 2020 series, Gail will share the story of a couple she has been working with for seven months who struggle to rebuild their bond following an affair.  She will show a number of short excerpts of their work together, starting from the intense escalation common in early sessions, up to and including Withdrawer Re-engagement and Pursuer Softening (still in progress). The clips and discussion will consider the challenges of rebuilding trust after betrayal, as well as illustrating some of the softer moments of connection which foster hope for healing.

Gail is an ICEEFT Certified EFT Therapist seeing both couples and individuals from her home in Cowes, Phillip Island. She has been a practicing member of the Australian Counselling Association since 2006, and was a founding member of MCEFT, taking on the role of President. Prior to 2006, Gail’s career was in the private business sector, working with CEOs and Boards for over 15 years. She then completed the ‘Specialist Course in Couple Therapy’ with Relationships Australia as well as ‘Emotion Focused Therapy for Individuals’ with Dr Melissa Harte of The Australian Institute of EFT, and volunteered with ‘Lifeline’ as part of her training. When Gail’s partner passed away in 2014, she turned her focus to her own Professional Development, and discovered EFT. She watched her Practice grow organically from that time, as EFT increased her effectiveness working with couples – in a small Community of around 9,000, word got around about a Specialist Couple Therapist.
